Yes.
Apparently I just can't get enough of getting into fights lately. It's becoming a routine. How good is that. Other than that, nothing new to report, other than school is about to start. Super gay. Eat my nuts, world.

I'm making a shitload of changes to my current lifestyle. My current lifestyle consists of being a lazy asshole, and that's changing.
All of this is made possible by my friend Derek, who is my primary motivation, and I'm his. For about a week, we have been dedicating ourselves to guitar. We practice daily for hours on end. And by practice, I mean we are literally learning how to read music, which will take longer but help us out in the long run. Within a year we should be up to a level of mindless shredding, and with the next three we hope to be creating works of pure hardcore electric guitar goodness.
I have started running 3 miles daily. It reminds me of my cross country days when I was young and nimble. Derek's father has set us up with a killer twice a week full-body workout and an excellent protein diet. Next Tuesday, we are driving to Appleton to meet some of the guys at the Fox Valley Grappling Club. In August, we will start training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA as sparring partners.
So, basically, in about a year I'll look like Brock Lesnar:
This is Maynard James Keenan, the lead vocalist of Tool. This is one of his side bands. This song is absolutely haunting.
Puscifer - Revelations 22:20
You should probably count on every song on this blog being Tool from this point on.
Random Tool fact of the day:
During a 1993 show at the Church of Scientology’s Celebrity Center in Los Angeles, Keenan bleated like a sheep for a good portion of the show. "Before our set this guy tries to intimidate me by showing me a gun in his jacket," Keenan recalled. "I explained to him that if he pissed me off I’d start a riot."
Jambi
I haven't updated this in a long time, and now is a good a time as any.
The Tool concert completely blew my mind. I'll even admit that I teared up a bit as it started. There is no other way to describe this event, other than that it was the best time of my life. It's something you just have to see.
Far left is guitarist Adam Jones. Far right is bassist Justin Chancellor. Middle right is drummer Danny Carey. Middle left in the shadows is the legendary Maynard James Keenan. This was their opener. It just happens to be my favorite song.
Third Eye
Why is every summer day just so god damn awesome? I haven't had a single bad day since school ended. I'm looking forward to the rest of the summer.
This video is super awesome. It's metal, but it's not your typical kind of metal. The singer actually has a good singing voice, the song is well-written, and the guitar sounds solid and heavy. Perfect.
Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare
It's been a while! I'm glad to say that I have most of my things moved in. This summer is looking promising.
I don't have time to write something long because I'm going to go jump off a cliff into a lake, and probably kill myself. God damn peer pressure.
A Perfect Circle - Judith
Last night was simply perfect. It was Kyle's birthday, and hanging out at the house with the guys proved to be the perfect evening. The only thing I don't understand is why there is popcorn all over my room...I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
This is the best video I've seen in a while. It's too good.
Stone Sour - Tumult
The song included in this post is absolutely amazing. Yes, it's long, but well worth the listen.
If you are familiar with the Fibonacci Sequence, with some analyzing you'll realize that the syllabic and musical nature of this song follows it perfectly.
Tool really is an incredible band. Each musician is so gifted, and Maynard is practically a God.
About to head out to patrol this dead campus.
Yes, still in the Local H jive.
Local H - Eddie Vedder
I worked all weekend during the Beergardens festivities. It was quite hectic. I'm glad I get to take a break and have a lazy Sunday.
Killswitch Engage - Break the Silence
